Life is Precious!

Wednesday, August 13th, 2008

Life threw us another curve ball this week. We lost a great colleague and friend this week, and we had no warning that anything was coming. We will remember Bob for a long time. A man who never said no to any request that was made; always willing to jump in and help. He was loved and respected, and I will always remember him anytime I hear about American Idol. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.

What is life’s lesson here? Live each day like it was your last. Love more, anger less, be a better friend, husband, wife, father, mother; push yourself out of your comfort zone to see what you are capable of.

Today, when I woke up and thought about what had happened, my favorite H-D saying popped in my hear. “Screw it, Let’s Ride” So this morning, I did exactly that. What are you going to do differently today?

Out Little Ms. Mo

Sunday, August 3rd, 2008

Today we said goodbye to our 5 year old puppy, Montana.  Little did we know that this “treatable ailment” would turn so serious so quickly.  Montana loved visitors and she loved to run and swim.  Peggy left on Saturday morning for a trip with her Harley Ladies, never knowing that this would be her last goodbye.  It became very apparant this morning that Mo was turning a corner too quickly.  Bert kissed Montana goodbye for the last time at 1:13 pm.  Montana, we love you dearly and will miss you forever.  Get out there and chase all of those Harley Davidson motorcycles that you love.  Nothing can hurt you anymore, and you are now pain free.  Take off Ms. Mo, and run like the wind!
