What a great time we had this year. We stayed at a house in Sea Grove Beach, and since it was the start of the off season, we had the beach pretty much to ourselves. It was a blast to watch Garrett explore the beach for the first time, and he loved it.

Had a great time at the annual company picnic, which I had not been at for several years. It was held at Bob’s house, and everyone seemed to have a great time.

We discovered a new game called koog, which was a lot of fun. It is always interesting to see the competitive side of people when you get to games. Please check out the photos in the gallery.

We had a great time spending the weekend with the Browns. It is great that we got to see them 4 times in about a year…….a record!

We had a great time Friday night just hanging around the house, and found a great restaurant to walk to for dinner.

Saturday was a visit to Navy Pier where we watched the sailboats getting ready for the Mackinaw Island Race. We then walked to Millenium Park-yes I can say it- and saw the bean art. Then on to an Irish Pub for drinks and to sit.

We then went to a street festival, with live music from a local band. It was great fun.

Sunday was more relaxing in the backyard, and just having a great time. The wonderful weekend was capped by a backyard barbecue with steaks, salad, and great wine….Millennium. We even had the company of Jack and Sue Ellen as well. Thanks to great family and friends for a very cool time.
