Life’s Lessons

September 5th, 2008

For those of us who are fortunate enough to grow older while still keeping our health, life takes on a different view. As time goes on, more of our friends and colleagues get sick, some die, and we need to use this as a reminder that life is precious. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Hug someone today that you have not hugged before. Smile more, even when you are on the phone…it makes a difference in how you come across.

Sometime today or tomorrow, smile and say hello to someone you have not said “hello” too before. Ask about how someone is getting along, and really ask to want to know. Thanks someone for something they have done for you, and for things they continually do for you. Appreciate your life, your health, and those who are around you.
And for those of us who ride… “Screw it, let’s ride.”

Panama City Beach

August 29th, 2008

Wow, what a great vacation we shared with Ashley & Wade in a gorgeous corner condo in Panama City Beach.  The weather was wonderful, sunny, breezy, and the water was just the right temperature to cool off in.  TS Fay stayed away until the very last day.  We were sad to leave the sand, but have hope of returning again and again.  You can never have too much sand between your toes.

What is going on?
