Things that I have learned this week-
*the weather forecast was right-on, much to my dismay
*snow on top of sleet sucks
*I don’t like rolling blackouts
*hitting “send” once in Outlook sometimes causes an email to be sent 3 times
*heat is a wonderful thing
*the internet is a blessing on snow days
*this building makes loud & scary noises when you are in here alone
*Jerry Jones has no power over Mother Nature – she rules and wins every time

I don’t make New Years Resolutions any more – too much pressure! Instead, I strive to become a better human being in this great big world, and to make a positive impact. I try to acknowledge and be grateful for the blessings in my life; to be disciplined and take my health seriously; to remember to laugh, even if it is at myself; to practice patience and understanding; to keep the faith and to surround myself with positive people. Every new year brings anticipation and hope for improvement – in one’s self and life. What a great year you were 2010, but it is time to say goodbye, cuz 2011 is here!
